Testimonials

“Nonsensical society has been a lifesaver this year for my energetic 6 year old. Homeschool has been a good fit for our family but we have been missing the social and fun parts of public school. That is why we feel so lucky to have gotten to know Kelsey, Erika and Chesdean who run the drop-in lunch program and the after school adventure club. These leaders are caring, full of energy and know how to keep the kids engaged in the games or adventure. Every time my son attends a program run by Nonsensical Society he comes back full of excitement and stories about how much he loves the games or adventure of the day.”

“I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continuous support to our kids, your smiles, and dedication to keep them happy and sane. Discovering NSK was probably the best thing that happened to us this year. Thank you. THANK YOU.”

“Nonsensical Society's summer camp was a phenomenal experience for our family. Our 6-year-old child was greeted with energy and care each day, and the dynamic staff provided an engaging, active, creative program for the campers. Our daughter came home each day full of stories, songs, and laughter. We were consistently impressed with the professionalism of the staff and how expertly they handled communication, both in-person and via email. We've been singing their praises to anyone who will listen and highly recommend NSK for their camps! Many thanks!”

“BEST CAMP EVER!!! It was AWESOME!!! There were so many fun activities like swimming and beach day. It was so FUN!!! - my 9y.o. daughter. My kids loved every day and came back loving life- even after their rainy beach day! The counsellors were amazing- passionate, fun, engaging, kind, considerate, inclusive, and had full of fun games and ideas. I would HIGHLY recommend this camp for other kids and parents looking for a great day camp in the East End.”

“Our child attends both NSK and a different professional daycare nearby, and much prefers NSK. The other daycare seems fine to us, but whenever we tell our child that we're going to daycare, she asks "which one?". If we say NSK then she says "Yay! I like the nosesical foliety for kids much better." We don't know exactly what they're doing differently, but it's clearly a big difference in experience to her. The staff at NSK seem emotionally present, energetic, and willing to meet the kids at their level. It looks like they put in a heroic effort every day to interact with the kids as people, and to make them feel understood.”

“NSK has been essential in helping my 3 year old get adjusted after the pandemic left her with pretty big deficits socially and emotionally. After months of being lock up at home and told not to get to close to anyone she developed big anxiety around strangers and had very limited experience playing with kids her age. For months, she would cry and/or scream at drop off but the staff NEVER gave up or made us feel bad about the difficulties. She now walks in barely looking back to say goodbye most days. She has transformed into a child that not only likes going to preschool but now asked to see Ches and Rick everyday! I owe so much to their preschool program. My daughter is a real example of their AMAZING ability to connect and foster a great learning experiences.”

“Our son just started at NSK and he absolutely loves it! He can't stop talking about going back to pre-school and his friends Rick and Chesdean (and of course all of the trucks and trains that he gets to play with). It is so lovely knowing that Charlie is in fun, enthusiastic and trusted hands when he is at NSK!”
